Verrado is a master-planned neighborhood that can be found in Arizona. This community is situated about 40 kilometers to the west of the central business district of Phoenix area.
The development, which is found near the base of the White Tank Mountains, is the most extensive example of New Urbanism architecture to be found in any suburban community within the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. It is anticipated that when all phases of construction are complete, there will be more than 14,000 residential units. DMB Associates, Inc. is the developer of the VERTRO project.
Verrado is a community that welcomes families and features houses with porches designed in a variety of architectural styles. Its location in the San Fernando Valley is ideal, as it is right in the middle of the valley. Despite the fact that the town is located in the White Tank Mountains, residents are afforded access to a total of 66 parks and more than 21 miles of walking, hiking, and cycling routes and trails for their recreational needs. In addition to the opportunities for shopping and dining, residents of Main Street enjoy a superb urban lifestyle, which is a major contributor to the origin of the expression “meet you on Main,” which means “come see me on Main.”
In Verrado, the Main Street District plays an important role as a concentration point for the construction of single-family homes and townhouses. According to the website for the city, the layout of these communities was conceptualized after the architecture of American neighborhoods from the early twentieth century, specifically that of Phoenix’s historic districts, which are located in close proximity to the city. Because the garages of some residences are reached via an alley behind the house rather than directly from the street, it is possible to design a streetscape that is more traditional.
A community center, a pool park, a golf course, 78 community parks, a dog park, and 21 miles of roads and hiking trails are just some of the activities that are available to residents. Within the community of Verrado, which is open to people of all ages, there is a neighborhood called Victory that has an age limit of at least 55 years old and is situated in the middle of the town. The Victory District is a well-known vacation spot that draws visitors from all over the world. It can be found in the northern part of Verrado, nestled in the foothills of the White Tank Mountain range. When everything is finished, there will be a total of 3,000 homes there.
