Rio Vista is a community located inside the city of Phoenix, Arizona, in the United States, and it has a total population of 8,777 individuals. The municipality of Rio Vista may be found in Maricopa County. Residents of Rio Vista enjoy a minimally urban atmosphere in their everyday lives, and the vast majority of residents own their own homes. The city of Rio Vista is home to a significant amount of green spaces. Rio Vista Village, sometimes referred to as “river view,” is the sixteenth legally designated urban village in Phoenix, Arizona, and can be found in the northern part of the city. Rio Vista Village is also known as “river view.” The majority of the hamlet consists of land that has not been built, and it is situated in close proximity to Anthem, a master-planned community that is similarly not a part of any recognized municipality. Among the places that have been built are the Anthem Commerce Park, the Anthem Outlets, and the Anthem West single-family housing development. The Arizona State Property Department is the owner of a significant amount of the land in the state that has not been developed. An irregular region that is located to the south of the community and is bounded by Desert Hills Drive, Pyramid Peak Parkway, and Carefree Highway. To the west of the community are New River Road and 75th Avenue, both of which run through the community. To the north of the community is Table Mesa Road, which runs through the community. To the east of the community is Interstate 17, which also runs through the community.

The Rio Vista Recreation Center, which can serve a variety of functions and is geared toward families, was established at Rio Vista Community Park in order to provide for the requirements of the local populace as well as the guests who come to the park. It offers a wide variety of services and programs, all of which are geared on involving locals and encouraging them to lead healthy lifestyles within the community as a whole. The Peoria Recreation Center is home to a number of firsts in the city, including the city’s first public gymnasium, the city’s first indoor racquetball courts, and the city’s first climbing wall, in addition to a multitude of other pioneering facilities and amenities. The Arizona Parks and Recreation Association (APRA) bestowed its Outstanding Facility of the Year award upon the establishment that spans 52,000 square feet on two separate occasions, in 2007 and 2008.
